While technically these templates can be used for most small businesses, they have been strategically designed with certain industries in mind, such as for therapists, counsellors and nutritional therapists (more options will be coming soon).
The Sunlight Koh-lective template + support hub is ideal for small businesses that are just starting out or are in their first few years of business and are not yet ready for a fully custom website.

All the templates are designed and built on Squarespace.
Squarespace is the ideal website and hosting platform for small businesses that want a stunning website that is also easy to edit and maintain, and can grow alongside your business. I have designed websites in many platforms, from WordPress to Showit and Wix, and Squarespace is by far the most intuitive and user friendly to use without sacrificing design capability nor SEO performance. This is why it is my preferred platform.

No, this is not a custom design. The reason this is more affordable than a custom design project is that you can choose the pre-designed optimised website template that best suits your needs and style, but you will have to customise it yourself by adding in your own text, images and colours to replace the placeholder content.
The difference is you also get access to ‘The Sunlight Koh-lective’ where you can ask questions, get my advice and feedback, as well as having the time to work on your website during the co-working sessions with me on hand if you need any help.

Yes absolutely, that is the while point. These templates are designed for you to make them your own by adding your own colours, images and text and even switching the font. Don’t worry if you’re not tech savy, you’ll have step-by-step videos to guide you and the live sessions where you can ask me any questions and get my advice on anything you’re struggling with.

Yes, while this investment covers your website template and the initial 3 months access to the support hub, you’ll also need to purchase a plan through Squarespace in order to launch your site. You can view their current plans here. Don’t forget you’ll get 20% off of your first years’ annual subscription.
Other additional costs may include:
A custom domain if you don’t already have one (although you will get the first year free when you sign up)
A custom domain email address

No, that is down to you. The template comes with placeholder text that you’ll need to replace before you launch your website. However, the support hub includes some resources and recommendations on how to write your website copy, and you can always get my feedback in one of the live Sunlight sessions.

Having professional photographs really does elevate a website and gives a more professional feel. However, when you’re just getting started and budgets may be tight you can use licence free stock imagery and a couple of mobile portrait shots to get you started.

Yes. You can split the total investment over 3 months, just select the payment plan option when purchasing your chosen template.
After the 3 months has ended you will have the option to stay in the Sunlight Koh-lective on a monthly rolling basis for as long as you want to stay or need the extra support and can cancel any time.

Within 48 hours of your purchase, you will receive an email notifying you of the transfer of the website to your Squarespace account.
If you are new to Squarespace, you will be able to create a new account using the same email address that you made the purchase with (there’s no need to set up a Squarespace account in advance).
